Description

A NOTE ABOUT NEDRIA'S RELATIONSHIP STATUS!

Under no circumstances, may anyone take this OOC knowledge into Roleplay. Only a few select characters of each party know about Soren and Nedria being mates ICly.

Example being that if Soren, Nedria, or those select characters didn't tell your characters via RP then you should NOT make it out to be that way. No irrational logic jumps, and no godmoding the information into RP.

As an Admin of EBC, I do have the right to give you a warning for using OOC information ICly, so think before you decide to do so.

Characters from left to right

:bulletorange:Andromeda of Fire Empire.:bulletorange:

:bulletgreen: Close friend
:bulletpurple: Respect

"She is my Silver Gladiator, and a friend. She was among the first Empire cats I ever gained trust for, and if my life were to ever depend on her, I wouldn't worry at all. It has in some cases as well. A strong Gladiator and a fierce fighter.

When I first came to the Empires, before life did as it would, I admit I was a bit... starstruck, with her at the time. But alas, things have changed since then. We've grown older and wiser- I've gone my own way, and she has gone hers.

I couldn't ask for a better Silver Gladiator in these days though. She gets her job done, and she has a clear mind."

:bulletorange:Brutus of Fire Empire.:bulletorange:

:bulletgreen: Close friend
:bulletpurple: Respect

"Long, long ago, when I was still a childish cub in the coliseum, I was put into one of my first fights with a large lion cub, who was as white as anything. He was fierce, and his skills were barely matched by mine. We nearly killed each other, but as fate would have it, we were pulled away before we could.

It's funny how life works, clashing us together time and time again without us knowing.

Brutus became part of the Empires, and after learning more about each other, we discovered that he and I were those very same cubs we had fought. Ironic how we're both close friends these days. We trust each other, and respect each other. Much like with Andromeda, I would not worry about myself if my life were to rest in his paws.

If I were to ever die, and Andromeda were to take my place as Leader, I would hope that she chose Brutus as her Silver."

:bulletorange:Theodoron of Fire Empire.:bulletorange:

:bulletgreen: Close friend
:bulletpurple: Respect

"Theo is one of the few cats I met in the coliseum life that had been fortunate enough not to be one of my opponents. He, and a margay by the name of Naram, were two of the young cats who had told me of the Empires in the first place. Had it not been for them, I may have never come here.

For a long time I thought Theodoron had been killed. I had seen him struck down with my own eyes, but again, as fate would will, he wasn't killed in the battle of our escape. He eventually joined Fire Empire, and he's now one of my closest friends as well. Among my most trusted allies, I am glad to have him in my Empire now.

He and I both wish to find Naram again, so that we can finally have the reunion we had been wishing for the night of our escape."

:bulletorange:Aglaia of Fire Empire.:bulletorange:

:bulletgreen: Good friend

"Aglaia was my first apprentice, and she has made me proud time and time again. When she was first introduced to me, we weren't sure how to approach each other. I was uneasy and didn't believe I was capable of teaching one so young, and she, nervous for taking her steps into the life of a Gladiator.

But that was long ago, and we're no longer mentor and apprentice, but equals as Gladiators. I may be the leader of my Empire, but I will never consider myself higher than those I swore to protect.

Aglaia still has much to learn, but as she grows older, she will have to find these discoveries on her own."

:bulletorange:Circe of Fire Empire.:bulletorange:

:bulletwhite: Neutral
:bulletblue: Friend

"She's young and stubborn, but she's my newest apprentice. She has the potential to become a great Gladiator one day, and I'm proud to be able to be a mentor to another young mind of my Empire.

Circe has much to learn, and from what I've seen of her, she has a long way to go yet. But I have faith in her. There isn't much for me to say about her at this point in time, but I hope to get to know her better in the future as we continue our training sessions."

:bulletwhite:Valon of Air Empire.:bulletwhite:

:bulletred: Dislike
:bulletwhite: Semi-neutral

"I'm not ashamed to say that I'm not young anymore. I have a map of scars across my pelt to tell those who see me of my age and of how many battles I've been in. I'm no stranger to war, death, or hatred, and I'm not a perfect leader by any means. I have my faults, and I know when to admit that.

It takes a good effort to get me not to like anyone, let alone hate. But Valon has certainly proved that it's possible to get on my bad side. He has caused more trouble than I thought possible for an Empire that is an entire territory away from my own.

He's reckless and acts before he thinks, and has endangered his own family as well as mine by believing silver-tongued lies from a hunter who had attacked his Empire no more than a few days before.

I do not blame his Empire for his actions, but Valon of Air Empire has much to learn, and much to prove before he earns my favor again."

:bulletyellow:Abiola of Lightning Empire.:bulletyellow:

:bulletred: Wary
:bulletwhite: Neutral
:bulletpurple: Semi-respect

"Lightning Empire borders Fire Empire, and under some circumstances, should provide a sort of 'wall' between our Territory and the others. At least that's what I was lead to believe before Lightning Empire's first leader died of the sickness.

As of late, Abiola's Empire has crumbled to a mere shadow of what it once was, and I'm disappointed in him for letting it become that way. He left on a wild goose chase for some self-proclaimed quest or another, and left his Empire without a leader, or a substitute.

I have to say that I'm rather wary of him now. I don't know whether he's staying or going, or if his Empire is even bothering to hold their borders. Many an Air Empire apprentice or Gladiator has made their way into our Territory- yes, trespassers are not uncommon, but to have such confidence in one's self as to cross an entire enemy Empire without so much as a glance? It's ridiculous.

I hope he learns to control and reform his Empire soon, or I hope that someone more... capable steps up to the task."

:bulletblue:Nedria of Ice Empire.:bulletblue:

:bulletgreen: Close friend
:bulletpink: Love
:bulletpink: Mate
:bulletpurple: Respect

"Nedria... What can I say about her? I'm not used to feeling this way about anyone, especially a cat outside of my own Empire. It's forbidden, and against the code- but we love each other. And it's not that kind of 'love' that an apprentice feels when they first lays eyes on one they fancy. We're not love-struck fools; we've known of each other for a very long time, but only these past few moons have we come to know each other as what we could have been back then.

She's everything I am not. She lacks the haunting glint in her eyes; the hollow shine that comes from battle upon battle of endless killing. Her pelt is unbroken by scars from maiming claws and shredding teeth. She's as perfect as any cat could be, and I love her with my entire heart. We're even expecting cubs soon, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Yet-

That same heart is torn in two. I know it's wrong to be with another from a different Empire, and she knows it as well. It's as if by unspoken agreement that we don't bring it up, for fear of the conversations that may follow. We both would do anything for our Empires, anywhere from fighting the biggest horde of humans and their Bounty Hunters, to helping them carry the smallest amount of prey back into camp.

It physically pains me to know that I'm betraying that one rule, and in turn my Empire.

I'm afraid of what will happen, and I'm afraid of what we must do in the future, to prevent hurting those we love. Be it ourselves, or our Gladiators."

:bulletpurple:Remus of Shadow Empire.:bulletpurple:

:bulletwhite: Neutral
:bulletpurple: Respect

"So far he seems to be the only other leader than Nedria and myself who seems to have a somewhat consistent hold on his Empire, and his Gladiators, with a few exceptions.

I've only spoken to him briefly before, so other than what I've seen at Gatherings there hasn't been much for me to take note of.

I do hold respect for him though, he has managed to stay together with his Empire even after the large fire that swept their territory recently."

:bulletblack:Scaeden of the Bounty Hunters.:bulletblack:

:bulletblack: Hate
:bulletred: Dislike
:bulletpurple: Grudging respect

"When I first met Scaeden, he had been spinning his web of silver lies before an audience of two Empire patrols. My own, and Valon's. He spoke of how one of my own Gladiators was planning to overthrow the other Empires and declare Fire Empire as the ruling majority- It sounds ridiculous, and considering the cat they were accusing, I put even less stock in what he had been saying. But somehow, he had managed to convince Valon of these lies, and had not only managed to sneak Hunters across our borders and into our territory, but also to successfully initiate the attack without so much as a hitch.

It was only by sheer force of power and numbers that our patrols managed to get away with all of our members alive and uncaptured. Scaeden has a way with words that not many other cats I have met have, and he certainly managed to control his band of jaw-gnashing Hunters well enough to make them seem as elite as they were once fabled to be.

However, his words alone weren't enough to pull their plan off, and predictably, they failed. Ironically enough, my Empire managed to capture not only he himself, but also his partner Caelina.

During my fight with Scaeden however, we had passed words, and many things were said that left me wondering. My mind had raced during that battle, and by the end of it, my head was nearly as tired as my body was. But we were victorious.

This Bounty Hunter struck a chord in me that sent me into the road of contemplation, and after a long time of thinking, I proposed something to them. As prisoners in our camp, wounded and bleeding, we showed them the ways of our Empire and of how free we were, and how we were able to choose how we lived. I offered them the chance to become a part of it, despite how recent the fight had been, and how hated they were among our ranks.

My reasoning was this; We were given the chance to escape, while they had not. It could have just as easily been he in my place, and I in his.

And to my surprise, they had actually contemplated it seriously, rather than spitting it back into my face.

In the end however, they chose the life of a Hunter over the life of a Gladiator, and we were forced to cast them out. I suppose my respect for him comes from his unrelenting loyalty to his kin, and how seriously he took the offer in the first place. But because of his decision, we are permanently doomed to be rivals and enemies, and for that, I am forced to hate him.

I still believe sometimes that he would have been an excellent Gladiator had he been able to choose otherwise.

My story of him is long winded and rambling, but among my little tale, there's things to be learned. "

Info taken directly from application:

Andromeda = :bulletgreen:/ :bulletpurple:

Claudius = :bulletblue:/:bulletpurple:
"If the recent attack on Fire Empire's camp has anything to say about Claudius's past, I guess I can understand why he's so skittish. Nevertheless, a good Healer and an important part of Fire Empire."

Brutus = :bulletgreen:/:bulletpurple:
"Long, long ago, when I was still a childish cub in the coliseum, I was put into one of my first fights with a large lion cub, who was as white as anything. Canicus = :bulletpurple:
"He's a strong Gladiator with a big heart. He is an excellent mentor to our apprentices, and it's unfortunate to know that his first apprentice, Kid, was lost. - I respect this Gladiator, and am proud to be able to call on him whenever I need to."

Ceres = :bulletwhite:/:bulletpurple:
"She's usually quiet, but she has shown that she cares. I haven't spoken to her much, but as one of my Gladiators, I'm proud to know she would stand with me in a battle."

Felix = :bulletwhite:
"A kind young cat. He's going to grow into a fine Blacksmith."

Alynnia = :bulletwhite:
"I'm glad to know she's on our side. To lose one such as her would be a terrible loss to any Empire."

Nimbus = :bulletwhite:
"She was a trouble-maker, and caused our Empire many issues. She tore a rift between Air Empire and Fire Empire, and made the other Empires distrust us, and believed we disregarded borders. But she was young, she was reckless, and she was also friendly. I do not believe she was a bad Gladiator. Whether her spirit has gone to rest in the heavens, or she still wanders the land; or if she were victim to the Bounty Hunters and resides in the coliseums –Gods for bid it-, She will be missed, no matter what the rumors say for my ‘dislike’ of her. I respected her, and I wish her to be safe, wherever she is.”

Theodoron = :bulletgreen:/:bulletpurple:
"Theo is one of the few cats I met in the coliseum life that had been fortunate enough not to be one of my opponents. He, and a margay by the name of Naram, were two of the young cats who had told me of the Empires in the first place. Had it not been for them, I may have never come here.

He and I both wish to find Naram again, so that we can finally have the reunion we had been wishing for the night of our escape."

Circe = :bulletwhite:/:bulletblue:/:star-empty:
"She's young and stubborn, but she's my newest apprentice. She has the potential to become a great Gladiator one day, and I'm proud to be able to be a mentor to another young mind of my Empire.

Outside Fire Empire:

:bulletwhite:Air Empire:bulletwhite:

Valon = :bulletwhite:/:bulletred:

:bulletblue:Ice Empire:bulletblue:

Nedria = :bulletpink:/:bulletgreen:
"Few others knew of our relationship. I will forever love her, but were weren’t meant to be, it seems. She holds my heart, and is the mother of my cubs, but we will no longer allow ourselves to see each other as mates.

From now on we are nothing more than fellow leaders. Yet my spirit pleads for more than just that. I hope that we both may move on one day, and find another to sooth our hearts. I hope for her, more than I. She deserves a mate whom can stand by her side; in her own Empire."

:bulletyellow:Lightning Empire:bulletyellow:

Abiola = :bulletwhite:
"Lightning Empire borders Fire Empire, and under some circumstances, should provide a sort of 'wall' between our Territory and the others. At least that's what I was lead to believe before Lightning Empire's first leader died of the sickness.

Caelina = :bulletred:
"She has returned with Scaeden to the Bounty Hunters. There isn't much more for me to say about her. She could have been a worthy ally, but she too declined my offer."

Juno = :bulletwhite:/:bulletred:
"This young feline is far too young to be part of such a blood thirsty group as the Bounty Hunters. It pains me to see how far humans will go to merely keep their coliseum running with rivers of blood. I offered her the offer to stay in Fire Empire as well, but her mind has been tainted with the trainings and teachings of the Humans, so she declined as well. She was turned out with Scaeden and the rest, finding their way back to the city."

Furie = :bulletwhite:/:bulletred:
"My thoughts run the same for this apprentice as they do for the other. Too young, foolish, and their fate has been self brought."

:D Circe gets Soren as her mentor?! Yay! Is it IC yet? I've been waiting on doing her assignments till she gets her mentor officially.
